Addressing Healthcare Disparities in Autoimmune Disease

Autoimmune disorders are intricate and frequently challenging to identify. Many patients go years without receiving an accurate diagnosis, and some patients never receive one. Three-fourths of persons with autoimmunity are female. People of color are also disproportionately affected and frequently encounter more barriers to care.
