About Dr. Erica Young-Jackson
Dr. Erica Young-Jackson serves as President and CEO of the Mickey Melba Autoimmune Research Foundation, where she leads efforts to raise awareness about autoimmune disorders, prevent misdiagnosis, and improve healthcare outcomes for individuals living with autoimmune disorders.
Dr. Young-Jackson's focus is to advance the organization's four pillars: Advocacy, Services and Education, Public Awareness, and Research. As a parent of an autoimmune patient, Erica is passionate about improving healthcare, empowering patients, and driving innovation in the autoimmune community.
Dr. Young-Jackson holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Instructional Design from Northcentral University, as well as a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, working with young adults, seeing new places, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
